How to install & terminate (rack mount patch panel)

  1. Select configuration: choose 1U–4U and adapter type (SC/LC/FC/ST/E2000).
  2. Mount in rack: secure the panel to the 19-inch rack rails and check its alignment.
  3. Prepare cable entry: route the fiber cable through the rear entry and secure the strain relief.
  4. Splicing/termination: use the sliding tray as the working platform and maintain the cable manufacturer's minimum bend radius.
  5. Install adapters: mount adapter plates and label ports.
  6. Patch and test: inspect and clean connectors, connect patch cords and test the optical link.
  7. Maintenance: slide out the tray for future access without removing the panel.
