Fiber Optic Dome Closure CK-FOSC-144F
Fiber optic dome closure CK-FOSC-144F protects and organizes cable splices in straight and branch configurations. The family offers up to 144 fibers in six 24-fiber trays, with cable-entry options for feeder, branch, drop and simplex cables.
Select the version by splice capacity and the sealing kit by actual cable diameters. The re-enterable body supports maintenance without replacing the complete closure.

Dome Closure Applications and Maintenance
The datasheet lists aerial, manhole, underground duct and direct burial applications. The kit supports straight-through and branching arrangements, with cable retention and splice organization selected for the actual route.
The closure can be opened for maintenance and cable repair. No filling compound is required in the closure body. Use the supplied sealing components and installation instructions when closing or re-entering the unit.

Cable Entry Ports and Diameter Limits
The current port layout in the linked PDF has two oval port groups and two main cable inlet ports. Choose seals against the cable's measured outer diameter.

Is CK-FOSC-144F limited to 48 fibers?
No. The family has six versions. V2 has 48-fiber capacity; V6 accommodates up to 144 fibers in six trays.
How many fibers fit in one tray?
The linked datasheet specifies up to 24 fibers per tray when heat-shrink splice sleeves are used.
Can the closure be opened again?
Yes. The body is re-enterable for maintenance and repair. Follow the supplied instructions and confirm any replacement sealing materials needed.
What cable diameter can be connected?
The PDF lists 8–15 mm, up to 19 mm, up to 22 mm and up to 3 mm entry groups. The correct port and seal depend on your cable diameter and entry layout.
